TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to MT Events!
These Terms and Conditions outline both the use of our website (https://mtevents.com.au) and the terms of our booking services. By accessing this website or booking our services, you agree to these terms in full. Please do not continue to use MT Events if you do not agree to all terms stated below.

Deposit & Payment Terms

A 65% non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days of the invoice to confirm your booking. The remaining 35% must be paid on the booking date. For bookings made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required immediately. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation at MT Events’ discretion.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations within 30 days of the event will incur the full event fee (100% payable). Cancellations more than 30 days prior to the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If MT Events cannot provide the booked artist or service due to unforeseen circumstances, a suitable replacement will be arranged or a refund will be issued.

Bump-In / Set-Up

Standard bump-in is 60 minutes before the event start time. Earlier setup requests may incur an additional fee.

Overtime

Extensions requested within 48 hours of the event are charged at 1.5× the standard hourly rate. All overtime must be approved and paid as invoiced after the event.

Parking

The client must provide accessible parking for MT Events staff and vehicles. Parking costs exceeding $20 will be charged to the client.

Outdoor Events

The client must ensure safe and suitable conditions for outdoor setups, including adequate shelter for equipment. MT Events reserves the right to delay or cancel services if weather conditions pose safety risks.

Price Variations

Additional costs such as early setup, extra hours, or special requests may be added to the final invoice. Reducing booked time does not reduce fees.

Conduct

Aggressive, unsafe, or abusive behaviour will result in immediate termination of services without refund. The client is liable for any damage to MT Events’ property or equipment during the event.

Force Majeure

MT Events is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, extreme weather, or civil unrest.

Site Requirements

The client must ensure all venues are safe, accessible, and compliant with relevant health and safety standards.

Intellectual Property

All branding, materials, and creative content provided by MT Events remain our property. Clients grant MT Events permission to use supplied materials (logos, music, etc.) only for fulfilling event obligations.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement in the case of material breach, insolvency, or risk to personnel. Early termination by the client requires full payment of the agreed contract value.

Liability

MT Events’ total liability is limited to the value of the event invoice. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or health-related losses. Claims must be made in writing within one month of the event date.
